Carry-on baggage
Bees Airline passengers can bring on board 1 carry-on item up to 7 kg and 55x40x23 cm at no charge. At the request of the passenger hand luggage can be accepted for transportation in the luggage compartment of the aircraft free of charge.
Any carry-on item that exceeds the limit shall be checked into hold subject to the applicable checked baggage allowance.
Passengers may also carry free of charge their personal items which they might need while boarding, unboarding or during the flight. These items include:
- a handbag/briefcase or notebook
- an overcoat or jacket
- baby food as may be required during the flight (max 5 kg and 40х30х20 cm)
- one pack of Duty Free merchandise (sealed in a security tamper-evident bag with the receipt inside)
Carry-on bags should be placed either in the overhead bins or under the seat in front of a passenger.
Liquids, aerosols and gels are allowed in carry-on baggage provided that they are in individual containers with a capacity less than 100 ml.
The number of such items may vary, but their total capacity should not exceed 1 litre per passenger.
Liquids, aerosols and gels include but not limited to:
any beverages including water, soup, syrups, creams, lotions, oils, perfumes, mascara, sprays and containers under
pressure including shaving foam and spray deodorant, pastes including toothpaste, gels including hair and shower
gel and any other substances and items of similar consistency.
Exceptions to the above include:
- medications (provided that they are specified in the prescription which bears the passenger name, or the passenger provides a doctor’s note explaining the need to use these medications and they are kept in their original containers);
- baby food (provided that a child is on board and the food amount meets free carry-on baggage limits).
Excess carry-on baggage
Passengers may bring onboard 1 piece of carry-on baggage up to 7 kg and 55x40x23 cm in addition to the free allowance applied to their fare type and travel class, at an extra charge.
Additional piece of carry-on baggage can be purchased at a price of 30 USD*.
NOTE! This service is available at the airport only during the check-in process.

Transportation of diplomatic bags in the aircraft cabin
Diplomatic bags may be carried in the cabin subject to no extra seat reservation and charges as long as the size and weight of one item does not exceed the free carry-on baggage limits.
Any diplomatic bag that is larger or heavier than the permitted dimensions or weight will require extra seat(s) reservation and respective ticket fare payment. Please, see the Extra Seats for Cabin Baggage section).
Checked baggage
The checked baggage allowance depends on the fare type and travel class.
Bees Airline passengers may check 1 piece of their baggage with a maximum weight of 23 kg and linear dimensions of 158 cm at no charge (rule applies starting from the Smart fare).
In addition, passengers may check items which they might need while boarding, unboarding or during the flight free of charge. These items include:
- baby bag (subject to infant traveling) – 1 piece up to 10 kg
- one child stroller or safety seat
- one wheelchair for passengers with special needs
Excess checked baggage
Passengers may check additional pieces of baggage in excess of the free allowance applied to their fare type and travel class.

Sports equipment
Transportation of any sports equipment is subject to prior agreement with Bees Airline.
Sports equipment incorporates various items intended for training and competitions. These items include:
- Bicycles
- Fishing equipment
- Golf equipment
- Surfboards
- Ski equipment
- Scuba diving equipment
- Camping equipment
- Ice-climbing equipment
- Ice hockey equipment
- Archery equipment
For the sports equipment transportation a fee of 30 USD* will be applied.
Transportation requirements:
- maximum weight should not exceed 23 kg
- maximum linear dimensions should not exceed 330 cm
- all sports items are totaled up
ATTENTION! Only sports equipment for winter sports (skis and ski equipment, snowboards and related items) is accepted for carriage free of charge only in case if Your ticket is issued with "Smart" or "Flex" fare or To the «Light» fare You have prepaid checked bag (more than 24 hours before departure). The total weight of winter sports equipment and one piece of luggage should not exceed 23 kg, and the sum of three dimensions of sports equipment should not exceed 330 cm. The offer is valid on all regular and charter flights.
In case of no extra paid luggage or excess size or weight, transportation of sports equipment is paid separately.
Bicycles are subject to a 50 USD* fee.
Only single seat bicycles are allowed as checked baggage.
The sports equipment must be packaged in a container designed specifically for it.
Sports equipment exceeding the above limits must be sent as cargo or freight.
Large items of sports baggage that are subject to an air freight transportation only:
- windsurfing boards longer than 300 cm
- javelins
- kayaks/canoes/aleutian kayaks
- oars (paddles)
- hang gliders
- other oversize equipment
- vaulting poles over 23 kg along with packaging
- any sports equipment which gear/set weighs more than 32 kg along with packaging

Musical instruments
The carriage of a musical instrument must be authorized in advance by the airline. Bees Airline accepts musical instruments both as the carry-on and as checked baggage.
Musical instruments can travel as cabin baggage if they meet respective size and weight limits or on an extra seat purchased for them in line with the extra seat baggage rules (see the Optional Services section).
Musical instruments should be properly packaged in a case/container specifically designed for them.
For checked musical instruments the standard and excess baggage policy shall apply.
Musical instruments exceeding the checked baggage limits must be sent as cargo or freight.

Lost or Damaged baggage
Finding lost baggage
If your baggage doesn’t arrive at your destination, please contact the airport Baggage Service Lost & Found office before passing through Customs control and complete a Property Irregularity Report (PIR). You will receive a copy of your PIR, information about terms and conditions of baggage tracing.
Pay attention! PIR performed after you leave the customs area cannot be accepted by Bees Airline as an evidence of a property damage.
The PIR drawn up by the passenger shall not constitute his/her claim against the carrier.
If your luggage is not found within five days, please make a list of your lost stuff (amount, description, manufacturers, date of purchase, prices) and send it to Lost & Found office. Please specify your PIR number in the subject line of your message. Baggage tracing is conducted for 21 days. As soon as your luggage is found, we will contact and inform you about the delivery.
Forgotten things
If you accidentally left or forgot your belongings on board the aircraft or at the airport, you need to contact the airport Lost & Found service, where your belongings were left.
Pay attention! The passenger's personal belongings, which are in the cabin of the aircraft with the consent of the Airline, are under the control of the passenger and under his responsibility.
Claiming for lost / delayed baggage
Claims for lost baggage will be accepted if the luggage was not found within 21 days. Passengers can present their written claim for lost baggage compensation within the time limit in accordance with the law, but not more than 3 years from the date of the flight.
Written claims for delayed baggage must be made no later than 21 days from the date of the baggage delivery to the passenger.
All required documents confirming the passenger's right to claim compensation must be attached to the claim, such as: ticket or route/receipt, fiscal checks for services, payment receipt for excess baggage, baggage tags, PIR, references about delays and other documents which could help speed up the claim settlement.
Missing or damaged baggage content
If you find damaged baggage or missing contents, please contact Lost & Found Baggage Services immediately and fill out a Damage and Pilferage Report (DPR) before going through Customs control.
You can send your claim regarding your missing or damaged baggage content by email: lf@bees.aero.
The missing or damaged baggage content claim shall be filed no later than 7 days from the date of the baggage collecting. All necessary documents that confirm the passenger’s right to claim compensation and can reduce the time of application processing, must be attached to the claim (ticket or route/receipt, fiscal checks for services, payment receipt for excess baggage, baggage tags, Damaged or Pilferage Report and other documents that could help speed up the claim settlement).
Consideration of claims
According to current regulations, the airline must consider the claim and notify the claimant about its satisfaction or rejection within three months from the date of its receipt, if transportation was performed by one airline. If several air carriers provided air transportation, the term of the claim consideration may take to up to six months.
Если перевозка осуществлялась несколькими авиакомпаниями, то срок рассмотрения претензий может быть продлен до шести месяцев.
In any case, the airline will do its best to reduce the time to consider your application.
