Pet transportation
General information
Bees Airline accepts only cats, dogs or birds to travel in the passenger cabin, and only cats and dogs as checked baggage.
If you wish to bring your pet on board, please notify us not later than 48 hours prior to departure due to the limitation as to the number of pets that can be accepted for carriage.
Pets must be accompanied by an adult.
Live animal transportation is regulated by the requirements of the relevant state authorities of the country of export, import or transit. Bees Airline shall not be liable for any refusal to export, import or transit your pet.
ATTENTION! Dangerous dog breeds like American Pit-bull terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa (Mastiff), Dogo Argentino, Doberman, Pincher Doberman, Rottweiler Anatolian Shepherd, Fila Brasileiro, Bull Mastiff, Perro de Presa Canario, Caucasian Mastiff, Cane Corso are not accepted for carriage by BEES
Also, cats and dogs with a flattened muzzle are not accepted for carriage in the baggage compartment on BEES AIRLINE flights. Noses of that pets have anatomical features that lead to difficulty breathing. Stress caused by transportation and / or high temperatures at departure, transit or destination airports can lead to circulatory problems, which can cause breathing difficulties. For this reason, your pet may experience serious health problems or even die during the flight. As a result, BEES AIRLINE does not carry these breeds in the baggage compartment. You can still carry your pet in the passenger cabin, subject to the conditions for carriage of animals in the cabin, as additional carry-on baggage.
Documents required for the pet transportation*:
- International pet passport.
- Valid pet health certificate.
- Vaccination certificate.
- Other documents required for the pet transportation that comply with the sanitary and quarantine rules of the country of export, import and transit.

ATTENTION! Carriage of animals on departure to the United Arab Emirates in luggage and hand luggage is PROHIBITED. Exceptions are service animals on which a transport permit has been obtained in advance.

In-cabin pets
A pet must be clean, healthy, and must be transported in a special carrier that is leak-, odour- and escape-proof. Pets can travel in cages, soft sided carriers, and travel bags specifically designed for in-cabin flights.
In-cabin pet travel fee is – 50 USD*
Transportation requirements:
- Only cats, dogs or birds are allowed (except of the above breeds of dogs)
- Maximum weight – 8 kg (including the pet carrier weight)
- Carrier size – 50*40*20 cm
- A pet should be able to stand, turn around and lie down comfortably.
- A maximum of two pets (except for cats and gods) can travel in the same carrier provided that each pet has enough space to stand, turn around and lie down comfortably, pets reveal no aggression towards each other and the combined weight (including the carrier’s one) does not exceed 8 kg.
- 6 pet carriers are allowed per flight
- Pets should travel with their owners, with the carrier placed on the lap or under the seat in front of the owner. Carriers are not allowed to be placed on the passenger seat.
- Passengers are limited to one carrier each.
- On board, the pet must remain in the carrier at all times.
*To be paid at the airport in the national currency of the country of departure at the exchange rate effective on the date of payment
Checked pets
A pet must be clean, healthy, and must be transported in a special container that is leak-, odour- and escape-proof. The container must be convenient for the transportation, loading and unloading, designed to allow animal feeding and cleaning and have ventilation openings on at least three sides.
Checked pet travel fee is – 85 USD*
Transportation requirements:
- Only cats or dogs are allowed
- Maximum weight – 32 kg (including the pet container weight)**.
- Container size – maximum linear dimensions should not exceed 310 cm
- A pet should be able to stand, turn around and lie down comfortably.
- Maximum 5 pet containers are allowed per flight.
*To be paid at the airport in the national currency of the country of departure at the exchange rate effective on the date of payment.
**Any other animals categorized otherwise shall be transported as cargo.
Transportation of pets in the same container as checked baggage:
A maximum of two adult pets (must be of same species up to 14 kg each) or up to three pets from one brood aged up to 6 months can be shipped in the same container.
Each pet should have enough space to stand, turn around and lie down comfortably, and reveal no aggression towards each other.
Service animal transportation
Service animals will travel in the passenger cabin free of charge.
These animals include:
- guide/assistance dogs trained to assist passengers with special needs;
- emotional support animals;
- service dogs accompanied by their trainers.
Service animals must be clean and healthy, and dogs must have a collar, leash and muzzle.
Upon request, documentation that the animal has been trained as a service animal should be presented.
