Traveling with children
Traveling with children under 2 years old (exclusive) – infants:
Infants younger than 7 days old are not accepted for travel
Infants can travel as either lap infants or in a car seat with the purchase of a separate seat at the infant fare applied. If an adult passenger is traveling with 2 infants, a separate seat should be booked for one of them where they will sit in a car seat. Bees Airline does not provide this equipment and service.
The car seat should not exceed the size of a passenger seat in the cabin and should fit in the 42x42 cm space.
The car seat must be equipped with seat belts, be serviceable, undamaged and in a good condition.
Not every child car seat is suitable for use onboard. The child car seat must be certified and approved for use in an aircraft. It should bear a label or marking showing that it is approved for air transportation.
Infants are allowed one checked bag up to 10 kg (in Smart and Flex tariffs)and food and other items they might need in the cabin during the flight (max 5 kg and 40x30x20 cm) free of charge.
A child stroller of any type is accepted for the carriage free of charge.
You may check the stroller during the check-in or give it up to the gate agent who serves your flight boarding right before you step onboard, in this case the stroller will be brought to the aircraft door upon arrival at your destination.
Traveling with children aged between 2 and 12 years old (exclusive) – children:
Children aged between 2 and 12 years old need a ticket and are subject applicable child fare to be paid according to a travel class. Child passengers should have a separate seat.
Children’s baggage transportation is subject to general baggage allowance policy.
In case of a children group travel at least one adult must accompany every 20 children passengers.
Unaccompanied minor service
Children who are 5 to 16 years old (exclusive) on our international flights and children who are 5 to 14 years old (exclusive) on our domestic flights and travel without a companion 18 years of age or older are considered unaccompanied minors.
The Unaccompanied Minor Service fee is 60 USD*.
Parents/guardians should ensure the following documents to be prepared for the travel:
- a valid travel passport (with the respective entry visa) on international flights and a valid travel passport (with the respective entry visa) or birth certificate on domestic flights;
- a ticket;
- any additional documents as required by the departure or destination country;
- a notarized letter of consent from parents permitting their child’s travel abroad (on international flights);
- the Unaccompanied Minor Handling Advice Form (should have details about persons who shall accompany and meet the minor, and about the minor’s parents/guardians along with their addresses and telephone numbers). The Form shall be completed at the check-in desk at the departure airport.
Please stay at the airport until your child’s flight has departed.
A person nominated in the Unaccompanied Minor Handling Advice Form as the one to meet the minor at the destination should provide his/her proof of identity.
*To be paid at the airport in the national currency of the country of departure at the exchange rate effective on the date of payment
