Press release regarding the situation with the operator's certificate cancellation.

In this very difficult time, the whole country is fighting the enemy with joint efforts. Having united, we will definitely win because we are also working to make Ukraine an economically strong and independent country.

   Bees Airline's aircraft were decommissioned before February 24 as a result of the lessor's demand to evacuate the aircraft from the territory of Ukraine due to military risks. That is why the airline, on its own initiative, turned to the State Aviation Service of Ukraine with a request to suspend the validity of the operator's certificate. Having a certificate (albeit suspended) is an opportunity to continue operations, provide consulting services and retain highly qualified staff. However, the regulator made a decision to cancel the certificate without the proper warning required by aviation regulations and without consulting the airline.

 We are convinced that the maintenance of the Bees Airline operator's certificate did not pose a danger to aviation and there was no need for its cancellation. Such a decision of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine is discriminatory and unfounded, aimed at the final destruction of the aviation industry in Ukraine, which is already on the verge of survival. This is not the only decision of the State Aviation Service that is surprising and questionable from the point of view of aviation regulations. Today, the position of the leadership of the State Aviation Service is not constructive, and the activities are not aimed at preserving and restoring aviation.

  The airline filed a complaint with the head of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, as well as an appeal to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine regarding the violations committed during the adoption of the certificate cancellation order.

   We will defend our rights, fight for our business and prove that Bees Airline has the right to continue to do its business professionally and qualitatively.
